Privacy Policy

The short version: this site collects very little, stores nothing you type into its tools, and does not sell anything about you.

What the tools collect

Nothing. Every calculator and checklist on this site runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Measurements, yard dimensions, and checklist answers are never transmitted anywhere, never stored on a server, and disappear when you close the tab. There is no account, no login, and no saved history.

Server logs

Like essentially every website, the hosting server keeps standard access logs: IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referring page, and user agent string. These are used for security and troubleshooting and are rotated on the host's normal schedule.

Analytics

This site may use a privacy-conscious analytics tool to count page views and understand which pages are useful. Any such tool is configured to record aggregate traffic patterns, not individual identities, and we do not attempt to identify visitors. If you prefer not to be counted, browser tracking protection and content blockers work normally here, and nothing on the site breaks when they are enabled.

Cookies

The site itself does not set cookies for tracking or advertising. If you click an outbound affiliate link, the destination merchant or its affiliate network will typically set its own cookie to attribute the referral. That happens on their domain under their policy, and you can read it before completing any purchase.

Third parties

• Fonts are loaded from a third party font service, which receives the request as a normal part of serving the file.
• Outbound links to businesses in the directory, to merchants, and to reference sources take you to sites we do not control and whose privacy practices are their own.

Children

This site is written for adults, is not directed at children under 13, and does not knowingly collect information from them. Since the site collects no personal information from anyone, there is nothing for a child to submit.

Your data rights

Because we do not build profiles or hold personal records, there is generally nothing to export or delete. If you believe we hold information about you and want it removed, get in touch and we will look into it.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted here.
